  17. Requirements for proper operation of the AVR Scanners are as follows:

  19. Series 15,44 and 441 
  20.  
  21. Host Adapter (Local) BIOS 1.21L or later.
  22.  
  23. Setting the cfg option "Auto Selection Timeout for Non-Existent Devices" to 
  24. [DISABLED]

  26. ASPIKERN.SYS Version 1.0 requires the "/s", meaning 'Do not send a SCSI BUS 
  27. RESET on intialization'.   Also, ASPIKERN.SYS version 1.0 will not display the 
  28. device; however the scanner device will still be accessible via the user level 
  29. program.

  31. ASPIKERN.SYS Version 1.10 or later requires no change.
